Hello, again! My name is Marina; I am currently majoring in Print Journalism and minoring in Marketing and International Business. I didn’t start college as a Journalism major, but, throughout my freshman year, I discovered writing was what I truly loved doing. I couldn’t be happier with my major and my two minors. Nowadays, it’s really important to do different things during your college life to make yourself standout among other students—that’s how I ended up with these two minors and at CollegeFashionista!
I am extremely excited to start my senior year and to be a Style Guru again. This is my third semester here and I love to being a part of this team. Due to my passion for fashion and writing, I was thrilled to find CF and to be able to put the two together. This website has become my go-to page for trends and inspiration, as well as my personal space to share what I love about fashion through my lenses!
As summer wraps up, I am trying to enjoy home (aka Brazil) as much as I can. Even though it’s technically winter here, the temperatures are not agreeing with the seasons, so I have been able to rock warm weather outfits. This weekend, I went out for lunch with a couple of friends and found myself in the perfect setting to take my street style pictures for my bio. Since we were going out to a very chill place, I decided to wear something simple: a printed skirt with a black crop top. As sneakers reach their high on the trend list, I decided I’d pair my good old white Converse with my look. To add the cherry on top, I wore my favorite shoulder bag with a hat! This outfit is a great option for a day out with friends, as it is casual and comfy!
I can’t wait to share more with you guys throughout the semester!
