Hello to all of you Fashionistas out there! My name is Marissa and I am currently a third year advertising and journalism student at the University of Florida. I love all things beach, Florida, summer and fashion! My style typically ranges from whatever is trending that season to a more laid-back, casual and comfortable look—there isn’t much of an in-between for me. My hot spots for shopping usually involve smaller boutiques that I find downtown or stores like Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Blue Spero and Altar’d State!
This season is summer and my favorite summer looks somehow usually involve some sort of romper because they’re just s,o fantastic giving you a whole outfit in one! But, I am unfortunately not rocking a romper today. Instead I am wearing my new favorite Umgee dress with my brown Henri Girl heels. I love this boho trend that everyone is in right now because it brings back so many of my favorite styles and I think this combination is a good way to incorporate boho into summer styles. Because of the summer sun, it can be hard sometimes to dress up or wear all of my favorites and not feel too hot, so I like that this dress is light and sleeveless and summer ready. I think this particular look is good for a nice lunch out or to spend a day downtown, but it can also be made more casual by switching the shoes out for maybe something more casual and comfortable.
