Hello Fashionistas/os! I am Marta and I am incredibly excited to share my personal style with you, and be a part of the CollegeFashionista team for the very first time! During my time here as a Style Guru, I want to present to you my sense of aesthetics, vision and fashion identity through my writing and photographs I’ll be posting every month. I am highly motivated to start this fall adventure with a head full of inspiring ideas, but before we will immerse with that topic, let me introduce myself.
I was born and raised in Warsaw, capital of Poland. I have undertaken many extra activities, hobbies and classes in order to find my perfect carrier path and true passion—fashion in Public Relations. Until I decide what my vocation will be, I dabble in various activities starting with fencing training, painting lessons and ballet classes. However, during this journey my interest in fashion was always present and unalterable. Therefore I made my choice to study in the usually rainy, sometimes sunny, but always beautiful England, and achieve my goals. This decision led me to where I am currently: at Bournemouth University, studying to earn a degree in Public Relations.
My personal style could be described as an eclectic mix. I am possibly the biggest fan of Audrey Hepburn, thus I am also an enthusiast of classical elegance and simplicity. The past century, especially the ‘60s, has had significant influence on forming my aesthetic style. The degree to which I am inspired by fashion from the past is so significant that even my friends say that I was born in wrong time period. Nevertheless, my style is forever evolving. Since I moved to England I am more eager to experiment with new shapes and patterns. It’s given me more courage and freedom to try out different styles and leave my comfort zone. Uniqueness and diversity are definitely features that describe the fashion style on my campus that I will try to capture in my future articles.
Enough about me! I am beyond happy to be a part of the CollegeFashionista family. I look forward to approaching all fashionable students around Bournemouth and revealing secrets of British style for you. Thanks for reading my first post and learning a little bit about me. Stay tuned for my next post coming soon!
