Hi I’m Matthew Peck, new Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I am your typical twenty-year-old college student, I love hanging out with friends, exploring new places and going to school. But, there is one aspect of my life that not all typical twenty-year-old male college students tend to share, and that is fashion.
I have been interested in fashion since a very young age and have learned a lot about it as I have grown. Now that I am twenty years old some of my favorite hobbies are making my own clothes, as well as going out to stores to explore the latest fads and researching upcoming trends. I also dabble in reselling shoes, due to the fact that shoes are my favorite articles of clothing.
All my life I have been around the camera, my dad is a professional photographer and has taught me a lot about the art. I have helped him shoot many different occasions over the years, weddings, newborn photo shoots, high school senior photo shoots and a lot more. I love shooting freelance photography with friends taking pictures of them in new places that we explore.
Another thing about me is I enjoy giving fashion advice, all my friends and family come to me when dressing for occasions or just going out. I am a super friendly and people oriented person, so when someone asks me about fashion, which Is obviously something I enjoy. I have no problem giving them feedback and showing them what works and what the trends are and how they can explore them in their clothing. Like in this post, I went with a simple dark skinny jean and a Comme Des Garçon t-shirt, with an adidas athletic shoe, and of course a denim jacket.
I’m super excited for this semester and being part of this journey with CollegeFashionista.
