Hi friends! My name is Maura Enderlein and I am a junior marketing student with a fashion merchandising and management minor at Philadelphia University. Fashion is the most important factor that shapes how I live my life and is a crucial part of our society on and off a college campus. As a fashion and life enthusiast, I hope to one day take the industry by storm, but for now I will remain a broke college student who believes coffee, dogs, brunch and a good outfit can solve all problems.
As a second semester at CollegeFashionista, I am so excited to photograph and write about the amazing street style at Philadelphia University this fall. Blogging last semester truly allowed me to find the best looks roaming PhilaU’s campus and analyze and point out the trends to share on CollegeFashionista. As a small design school in the city, Philadelphia University is a prime campus for unique style. CollegeFashionista has given me a new insight about incredibly well dressed and RAD college students across the country. It is extremely rewarding to be a part of a such a wide-range social network and inspiring fashion community.
We Fashionistas/os understand the importance of what we wear and how that communicates with who we are to the world. The most amazing part about fashion is that inspiration can be found in anything, nature, celebrities, books, movies, blogs…. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. Street style on various social media sites has a huge impact in what I wear, including CollegeFashionista. My personal style ranges from sporty chic to boho. You may catch me rocking my black Nike sneakers and graphic T-shirt, or a flowing hippie dress and booties. These looks are so different, but the cool part about fashion is deciding who I will be every morning when picking out what to wear. The street style at Philadelphia University is where I gain inspiration, and I am so excited to share this with other Fashionistas/os!
