Hi, my name is Maya Asher. This fall I will be starting my junior year at Loyola Marymount University. I am studying communications and fashion. I grew up in Seattle, Washington and moved to Los Angeles, California for school my freshman year. I spent the last semester studying abroad in London, England.
As for my style, I love anything that is simple. I am one of those people who tends to wear colors like black, white and grey. From time to time, I love to add a pop of color which usually comes in the form of a handbag. My daily style usually includes distressed denim and a simple shirt with an overload of accessories.
Aside from fashion, my other interests include food. I love trying new restaurants wherever I go, but I also have my few favorites where the staff knows me by name. Traveling is something else I love and do as often as I possibly can.
Over the last few months, I have seen street style from all over the world, but none of it compares to the street style in LA. I am excited to be back for all the fall trends. This semester I am looking forward to being a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. The students at Loyola Marymount University have great style, and I am excited to share it with you all. Everyone on campus comes from different parts of the country, (and the world) so the mix of different styles are very apparent on campus.
