Hey y’all! I’m McKenzie Gutierrez and I’m going into my third year at California State University of San Bernardino. I am a Communications major with a concentration in media studies. I am a professional dancer, my college radio’s Music Director and now, to add to that list, a Style Guru intern for this fall.
My life can get a little crazy and hectic, but that’s just the way I like it. You can find me blowing my paychecks at the mall, sipping on coffee at all hours of the day, escaping reality at Disneyland or going on any sort of adventure with my sister. I’d like to consider myself to fall under the “gypsy soul” category. I march to the beat of my own drum and I go wherever the music leads me. With that being said, that leads me to how I would describe my style.
My style, just like me, is a little all over the place. I don’t categorize myself under any specific trend. One day I’ll be rockin’ my cowgirl boots and a sundress. Then the next you can spot me like I am here rockin’ my favorite ACDC band tee, fun paisley shorts, my booties that were definitely made for walking and to top it all off with my favorite hat. But that’s what I love so much about fashion, you can constantly be changing and rearranging your style.
I cannot wait to not only share my style with everyone this fall, but also share all of the fun findings around my diverse campus in San Bernardino. Here’s to a great fall with fun trends, new findings and exploring the unknown! Let’s have some fun and take those risks you’ve always wanted to take.
