Hi everyone! My name is Megan, and this is my first semester as a Style Guru! I am currently a junior at Saint Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. My major is internet and social media marketing with a minor in hospitality. I feel as though this major is perfect for me, seeing that I spend the majority of my life on the internet!
When I’m not in class or cleaning toilets–part of my on-campus job–you can find me at my local Target! If you know me, you know that I shop at Target at least twice a week if not more. There’s just so much to see! Some of my other favorite clothing stores are Old Navy, Forever 21, and H&M. These stores, for me, always have the latest trends at affordable prices.
I’ve always loved clothes and fashion, and I love seeing how fashion evolves with time and seasons. I’ve always considered myself “fashionable;” however, if I think back to an outfit I wore my freshman year of high school, I can’t help but cringe! All I have to say is yikes. However, this is not saying much considering I cringe at things I wore a year ago or sometimes even last week. I just know that even if I regret an outfit next week, I still have to try new things and not be afraid of outfit regrets!
Nowadays I find myself wearing a lot of black…oh and plaid! I’m a big fan of plaid. Whether it’s a plaid flannel or my plaid coat from Old Navy, plaid is a classic look with which you can never go wrong. And obviously you can’t go wrong with a pair of black, high-waisted jeans. With those staples, I always like to go with some ankle boots for my shoes. And as for bags, I’ve been obsessing over mini backpacks because they mean hands-free shopping.
I look forward to sharing some fashionable people on my campus with you, as well as a little more about my personal style. Catch ya later!
