It’s been said, “What you wear says a lot about you” and I could not agree more. A lot of times I find my mood reflecting in my outfits. Fashion is an amazing way to express who you are and your character. There is nothing I love more then getting creative and trying out new styles, which is like who I am: open-minded and fun. Unfortunately, I was not always as open to being different. When I was younger, I would go along with the trends and wear what everyone else was wearing, but as I grew older, I began to experiment a little with my wardrobe. I am certainly not saying I wear crazy designs you’ll see on a runway, but I like to step out of my comfort zone and express my style in different ways.
I would like to say my style is very boho-chic. My wardrobe consists of a lot of nudes, blacks and laid-back styles. Some of my favorite brands and stores to shop at are Free People, Anthropologie, Urban outfitters and Nordstrom. While I studied aboard last semester, I was able to find a lot of good boutiques and brands to strengthen my closet with some great pieces! I get a lot of my ideas from other bloggers, famous female surfers/athletes/artists, friends and magazines of course. I was born in the Northeast with changing seasons, which was always fun to dress for. Now, living in Florida, it’s been a new challenge to dress for pretty much the same temperature year round without getting repetitive. Don’t worry: I’ve managed. I am currently home now in New Jersey, but the weather is still warm! Here is a outfit I put together that is made for these warmer winter days! In this outfit, I am wearing mostly things I found in Europe! My bracelet was hand made in Morocco! The only two things not European are my jacket and Rebecca Minkoff bag.
I hope to one day pursue my love for fashion in the business world. Being a Style Guru is putting me in the right direction and I am excited to see where it takes me. I am excited to start sharing my style with others and learning to become even more confident with it! Enjoy fashion lovers!
