Hello fashion goers! My name is Melany and I am so incredibly excited for my third season as a Style Guru. I’ll be a fourth year student at Rutgers University majoring in Communications and Public Relations. Ever since I could remember fashion has always been a part of my life. From dressing up as a little girl, to figuring out ways to spunk up my uniform throughout my elementary and middle school years, I have always had a knack for style. I now take every day as a chance to be whoever I want to be. My mood depicts many of my outfits. I can be dressed head to toe in pink one day, and the next rock an all-black outfit. My style is super versatile and varies according to my mood, time of day, event, or even the weather.
My featured Style Guru Bio outfit is a fun mix of casual chic. I love unconventional combinations, for example a delicate thin strapped heel paired with a motto leather jacket. I then tone down the contrast with a simple, off the shoulder dress. My signature to always wrapping up a look is the perfect pair of classic shades to keep you cool and collective at all times!
