Hey y’all! My name is Meredith, but you can call me Mer! I was born and raised by the gorgeous mountains of Boulder, Colorado before briefly living in San Diego, California. I currently attend Texas Tech University on the Pre-Law track. I am majoring in global studies and political science while minoring in English—I guess you could say I like to keep busy.
Aside from my obvious love of fashion, I am an avid traveller, writer, dancer and singer. My personal style is heavily influenced by all my passions. Dance got me addicted to sneakers, music got me hooked on leather and suede and traveling keeps me on the hunt for new inspiration. I like to incorporate contemporary clothing with authentic handmade pieces from the places that I travel too, because there’s no better statement piece than one with a story behind it. My go-to pieces are a pair of sleek black boots (or anything black really), a classic light jacket, a men’s watch, bold sunglasses and anything soft of oversized. If I had to describe my style, I’d say I’m drawn to minimalist staples with an edge.
If I’m not out shopping or color-organizing my closet, I’m most likely on a plane, on a run with my dog, in a coffee shop, or snuggled up reading a good book. Let’s be honest though, I am probably shopping. But hey who could blame me? Retail therapy is just what the doctor ordered for stressed-out, sleep-deprived college students such as myself.
Fashion is the lifestyle and “what would Anna Wintour do?” is the motto.
