I’m Miranda Murdoch, a sophomore Marketing major at James Madison University. I am so excited to be joining the Style Guru team at CollegeFashionista. I am a part of the Alpha Phi sorority, and being my chapter’s social media chair has given me an amazing opportunity to put my social media talents to good use. I have never been involved with writing blogs, but I cannot wait to highlight all of the styles my campus has to offer.
My style has always been evolving. However, the experience of going to festivals has influenced my style. Now, I fall in love with pieces that tend to be more flowy and involving fringe. I love how you can look dressed up and still have room to dance to all of the amazing music. I own more printed pants than I should, but they add a lot of wow in a comfortable way and I buy all of mine from Francesca’s.
I would say a must have in all of my outfits would be a pair of Steve Madden shoes and a wrist full of gold tone jewelry. I have an obsession with all Steve Madden shoes, as I own 10 pairs. From their wedges to their pumps, I am convinced no other shoe can be as comfortable and stylish at the same time. Lastly, wrist candy is a necessity, and I prefer it all on one side so the shades of brown and nude can complement my gold KORS Michael Kors watch.
