Hello beloved Fashionistas/os, my name is Molly Mallgraf and I’m so excited to be a Style Guru this summer! This will be my first time working with CollegeFashionista and I could not be more hyped to get started! This summer I will be living in my hometown, a quaint, little suburb in Boston, Massachusetts, but during the school year I live in the ever so beautiful town of Boulder, Colorado. There I am working towards a degree in strategic communications and am quickly approaching my junior year. Flopping from both East and West Coasts, I have seen and tried out a wide range of styles that I now have morphed together to create my own quirky personal style.
I am a very indecisive person, which sometimes comes across in my outfits as I can bop from style to style. If I had to describe my sense of style though I would say it ranges from effortless boho-chic to edgy and fierce Kylie Jenner wanna-be (she is my queen and I’m not ashamed to say it). I fell victim to her lip kits and now I keep one handy in my Urban Outfitters tote wherever I go, along with a disposable camera, kate spade’s Walk On Air perfume and sadly, very little money.
Any new fashion trend that breaks the norm catches my eye, especially piercings! I have had my eyebrow pierced in the past and my septum. I think piercings are such a cool way to stand out and express yourself, even if my mother may not agree. I have tried out every hair color possible, cue my indecisiveness again, and a vast majority of my wardrobe is black. To me comfortability is a big deal and I base my outfits off of what looks are aesthetically pleasing to me because ultimately fashion should be for you and about celebrating who you are. I love keeping up with any new trends and experimenting with different things because to me, fashion is an art and a way of putting across your character to the world.
