Greetings fellow fashion lovers! My name is Molly Stelma and I am a returning Style Guru from last semester. I’m currently earning my degree at the ever so spirited Michigan State University. I am a senior and will be graduating in December with a Bachelors in Communication Arts & Sciences while minoring in Public Relations.
I have always thought that fashion was just a hobby until I entered the college life. I realized that I could have a job in fashion and never work a day in my life because I’ll be doing what I love. Although my degree is in communications, I know it will translate well into a major company like Oscar de la Renta or Refinery29 (serious dream jobs). I just ended my summer internship with Hour Media here in Troy, Michigan as a Marketing and Events Intern. As of recently, I landed a job at the mecca of all department stores, Nordstrom, as a sales representative for the department T.B.D. I can now officially make money there instead of just spending it.
Those who know me know that my biggest aspiration is to move to New York with my boyfriend and our two dogs Tucker and Oliver after graduation. Malls and department stores are my anti-drug and stress reliever rolled into one. I used to dance competitively for 15 years but now I stick to dancing in the car with my friends. My spirit animals are Margot Robbie, Gigi Hadid and my mother. I’m that weird girl that knows too much information and gossip about celebrities because I’m obsessed with magazines, and yes, even the tabloids. My current fashion obsessions are leather bomber jackets, bold face watches, and dressy joggers.
I know that round two of being a Style Guru will be even better than the last time and I can’t wait to share with you all of the great street style at MSU’s campus. Until next time Fashionistas/os!
