Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! After a fun fall season full of beautiful fashion I am so excited to be back as a Style Guru this spring. I am thrilled to discover what the trendy people of Purdue University will be wearing this season, whether it be floral dresses, bright colored blazers or fabulous bohemian sandals.
As a little girl, style was always something I was interested in. I would flip through Vogue whenever I could get my hands on a copy and I realized that fashion would always hold a special place in my heart.
However, clothes and accessories aren’t the only things that interest me. I love reading, hiking, swimming and writing. I have my own lifestyle and fashion blog called Byron, Birkin and Burch where I write my own content and take my own photographs. It is a great way for me to express myself and get my ideas out there. I also enjoy watching old movies featuring the greats like Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth, Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby. These classic films are where I get a lot of my style inspiration, but with a modern twist.
Here, I am wearing a longline high-slit shirt with some tan wedged booties. To complete the look I added a stacked necklace and a broad rimmed felt hat. This is the perfect outfit for brunch with friends or even shopping at some local boutiques.
The great thing about style is that it has no limits! You can wear whatever you want to show the world who you are. There are no rules or regulations when it comes to expressing yourself through clothes.
