Hey everyone, my name is Morgan! I’m currently entering my junior year at Penn State University and I’m studying communications with a minor in sociology. You can often find me in downtown State College working as a barista or exploring with my camera. I love photography and videography almost as much as I love coffee. I hope to one day work as a documentarian or lifestyle blogger.
My style ranges from boho beach-inspired to outdoorsy and comfy. I get a lot of style inspiration from the laid back vibes of the West Coast. It has been my dream to live there ever since I was young and I hope to fulfill that dream after graduation. People like Cartia Mallan and Vanessa Hudgens are also huge style inspirations in my life. In the colder months, my go-to look is an oversized sweater, jeans and lots of jewelry. I’m not a fan of cold weather, so I always like to bundle up with tons of layers. This includes hats, gloves, scarves and leg warmers.
I am a passionate vegan, so it is extremely important for my wardrobe to be free of any animal skins, furs or feathers. In the modern day and age, there are so many faux leather booties and jackets that look and feel like the real deal. Plus, they’re more affordable for Fashionistas like myself. Also, I get many clothes from thrift shops, such as my sweater. When the weather starts to get colder, I always pair sweaters with velvet skirts.
My style is constantly changing and growing every day. This semester will allow me to meet some amazing Style Gurus and experiment even more with my wardrobe. I’m so excited to see myself grow as a writer with CollegeFashionista and can’t wait for an amazing semester!
