Hello there all, my name is Nagelly Graullera (Na-yell-e) and I would love to say that I am excited to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team for another semester!! I am currently attending California State University of Northridge (CSUN) as a senior and it is such a bittersweet moment for me because I can see the finish line, but I do not want to reach it just yet due to all the great memories and friends I have made over the years.
At CSUN, I am working on getting my bachelor’s degree in science in hopes of getting into a great medical school so that I can become a pediatric oncologist. Just like many of you, this road has been bumpy for me, but what is the point of pursuing something that does not have those bumps? I love challenging myself and my abilities in order to achieve such goals that I have set. Once I have succeeded, I tend to set the bar higher because it helps me grow as an individual.
As you can see, my wardrobe is mainly based on comfort, neutral colors and stripes. I love striped clothing so much that my closet literally reflects it! I used to be a frequent online and mall shopper, but I gave that up about two years ago and stuck to “thrifting” my clothing because their unwanted clothing is my treasure. The striped shirt and denim flannel I am wearing were thrifted at my local Goodwill(s), but that does mean you cannot get your hands on these since these items are trends! To complete my look, I threw on a pair of black moto jeans and brown slip-on sneakers, since I am one that enjoys eye pleasing colors.
