Hey there! I’m Nancy and I am currently a sophomore studying communication with an emphasis in public relations at Washington State University. I’ve always loved communicating with others, especially through different platforms in the media. More specifically fashion, on platforms like Instagram and Pinterest because you are able to share pieces of clothing you love with everyone and anyone. This is my very first semester that I am writing for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more excited and grateful for this amazing opportunity.
I love fashion and how people can express themselves through their wardrobe. I personally don’t stick to one certain style and I don’t always follow the latest trends either and that’s okay. I usually just match my clothes to the mood I’m in or whatever look I’m going for. I think most people can relate with me on that. I certainly don’t know someone who only sticks to one style everyday of their lives. That’s what I love about fashion. You can go any direction you want with it.
On this day, I was actually Christmas shopping in Seattle, Washington! So this was a super easy, comfy but still trendy outfit. I’m wearing this huge blanket scarf but I didn’t wrap it around my neck, instead I just let it hang. I’m wearing my favorite everyday dainty choker with this look. I am also wearing this trendy army green jacket with a basic black one piece (that everyone should have in their closest) under it. My bottoms are distressed light denim jeans and to finish off the look I wore a simple heeled black bootie.
