Hello, my name is Naomi Smith-George, and I am proud to introduce myself as a returning Style Guru this summer 2015! Last summer I had the amazing opportunity to report as a writer for ALL IN THE DETAILS, and this summer I have the amazing opportunity to report for all columns that CollegeFashionista provides. I will be a junior in the upcoming fall attending Agnes Scott College, which is located in Atlanta. I am majoring in Creative Writing with a double minor in Public Health and Psychology. I am from the great city of New York, and this summer I will be spotting elaborate fashion details sported by Fashionistas/os throughout my home city.
This summer I am so excited to continue my long-held passion of fashion journalism in one of the fashion capitals of the world, my home city New York. Journalism, print to be exact, has been a career that I have had my heart set on for a very long time, and fashion is way more than “just a hobby” but a tremendous element that has been very influential and present throughout my entire life. It has been my mission, making it my destiny, to put the two lovely elements that make up most of who I am into one blossoming career.
This summer, I will again be showing you all lovely Fashionistas/os all over my city, and this time, in all departments of CollegeFashionista fashion. My personal style has always been one to vary alongside my mood. I can go from rocking a pair of blue skinny jeans with Converse and a white T-shirt to Rihanna’s yellow masterpiece at this year’s Met Gala. I think as a Fashionista/o, it is important to cultivate your own personal style, but maintain a versatile palette of fashion trends.
