Hello, my name is Naomi Smith-George, and I am proud to introduce myself as a returning Style Guru this fall! For the last two summers I’ve had the amazing opportunity to report as a writer for various columns on CollegeFashionista, showcasing fabulous Fashionistas/os in my hometown of New York City. This fall I am excited to do the same for all of my Scotties! I am a junior attending Agnes Scott College, located in Atlanta, Georgia. I am majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in Public Health. This will be officially the first semester that the CollegeFashionista community will get to see multiple fabulous Scotties showcase their style.
As a recurring Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, most readers have a sense of my personal style. Girly yet edgy, sophisticated and New York-chic. In this STYLE GURU BIO, I am rocking a cute jumper that I purchased from Ross, Forever 21 wedges, a Marshalls cardigan and the fabulous clutch that I have been eyeing in my mother’s closet for years now.
All of this is exciting, yes but what I am most excited to showcase this fall is the versatility of fashion and style that I see on my campus every day. Agnes Scott College is an all women’s institution that teaches young women to “Think deeply, live honorably and engage in the intellectual and social challenges of their time.” There are students at Agnes Scott College, from all over the country and globe who sport amazing and unique fashion. For every major and minor at Agnes, there are hundreds of fashionista’s killing the scene! If you ask me, I’d have to say Agnes Scott is the most stylish all woman’s college there is. (My Scottie pride is very high, just so you know).
This semester, I am so ecstatic to finally show the world just how stylish smart girls really are!
