Hi! My name is Natalie Campion and I’m currently a sophomore at Florida State University pursuing a degree in marketing. Throughout my time at Florida State I have been influenced by the diverse fashion trends that surround me on campus. Not only am I constantly inspired from the students on my campus, but also my favorite runway designers (Alexander Wang, Bottega Veneta, Elizabeth and James, Jason Wu, Marchesa, rag & bone—the list could go on forever). All inspiration aside, I am so excited for this opportunity and I can’t wait to share my campus’ unique style with the CollegeFashionista family.
Fashion to me is a creative outlet in which I can express my thoughts, inspirations, and personal style. I love seeing how other people style outfits and mix their thoughts and inspiration into their own unique sense of style. This year I am the Styling Director for a student run Florida State magazine, Clutch. This is another way I get to express my passion for fashion and current trends.
Living on a college budget, I am always on the lookout for staple pieces to add to my wardrobe. In this look I paired a classic chunky knit sweater with some of my favorite jeans. I completed the look with my favorite booties from Jeffrey Campbell and a copper cuff. This makes for an easy functional look that can be restyled a million different ways. You could easily swap the jeans out for a fitted skirt and transform the look from day to night—or swap the sweater for a silky top and have a sexy evening look as well.
