Hello to my fellow fashion-loving, clothing-obsessed and overall style-crazed people! Clothing has been my form of expression for as long as I can remember. Whether I was wearing my pajamas to preschool or pairing my dad’s T-shirts with my mom’s vintage belts, I was always dressed a little different than the others.
Prior to entering the scary place that is high school, I was diagnosed with Scoliosis forcing me to wear my least trendy accessory; a bulky plastic brace. Seeing as I had to wear the brace 18 hours a day, I knew it was time to figure out a new fashion trend that made my not-so-stylish partner in crime a little more bearable. It was now time to raid my dad’s oversized clothing and my mom’s ’90s outfits in hopes of freeing myself from school ridicule. This was the peak of my passion for all things chic and pushed me to the test in all aspects of style. It was then that I realized, if I can make an obnoxious brace look good I’m incredibly capable of working with whatever I’m dealt with.
So who am I? I’m Natasha, an Los Angeles girl taking a little break from the city to explore the beauty that is Eugene, Oregon. I am a junior at the University of Oregon majoring in General Social Science with a focus in Crime, Law and Society and I hope to someday be pursuing my love for fashion in New York City (or at least that’s the dream, am I right?). I’ve been a shopaholic since I learned how to swipe a credit card and I’m using this gift (or “sickness” as my mom might call it) to share my love for fashion with all of you! I can’t wait to let you all get a little peek at the amazing fashion I am surrounded by every day.
