Fashion has been a great influence on my life since my youth. Ever since my first shopping trip when I was three, where I picked out a dress and cried when I thought they didn’t have my size, I’ve been hooked. I grew up watching The Hills and The City, among other fashion related shows, obsessing over Vogue and documentaries like Bill Cunningham New York and have always dreamed of one day becoming a buyer, stylist, or professional fashion blogger. I plan on doing this through retail experience, internships and my drive and determination to succeed in whatever endeavors I pursue. I am currently a sophomore at Seattle Pacific University and will pursue my dream of receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising, as well as a minor in Business Administration.
The past few years have been full of opportunities, which have allowed me to pursue my passion further. For example, this unique opportunity through CollegeFashionista is something I am incredibly excited about, because I get to be surrounded by insanely talented people who share the same love of fashion as me. Likewise, I am excited to have started my own personal style blog, as well. These two opportunities have allowed me to further express my unique voice and style, and break out of my comfort zone a bit. Style is about showing the world who you are, and I’m thrilled to be able to express myself through these platforms.
No matter where life leads me, I am grateful for whatever is thrown my way and am determined to make the most out of all opportunities I receive, while pursuing greatness and searching for beauty along the way.
