Hello fellow Fashionista/os! My name is Nicole Garfunkel and I am back for my second semester writing for CollegeFashionista!
Between interning in Hong Kong over the winter, having another great semester at the University of Delaware and interning in New York City this summer, I have been exposed to many differing fashions that I like to think have come together to influence my own style. Fashion has been important to me since I can remember and my style is constantly evolving!
When I started writing for CollegeFashionista I often wore all-black ensembles and basic staple pieces. Even though I am still a huge supporter of those things, I have been trying to branch out of my comfort zone and incorporate more patterns into my wardrobe. A perfect example of that is this floral dress from LOFT. I paired the dress with Sam Edelman booties and a Rebecca Minkoff clutch. Despite my recent style changes, I still stick with a few basics. It is rare to find me without my dainty gold jewelry, sweaters and booties to complete any outfit at any time of year!
Other than writing and taking pictures for this website you can find me sipping on coffee at local coffee shops, reading every fashion magazine and blog known to man and helping to plan the annual student run fashion show here at UD! I am thrilled to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team again and cannot wait to scope out the new trends on campus this semester!
