Hello all you trendy people! I’m Nicole and I’m a junior at the University of Delaware. I’m studying Mass Communications with a minor in Journalism but I have no idea what I want to do after I graduate. I’ve spent many years obsessing over fashion bloggers and wishing I could be half as cool as them, so being a Style Guru is basically a dream come true. I am so excited to show you all the stylish people that go to the best college ever!
Since this is my bio, I’m going to tell you some fun facts about me. I love to bake but only because I love to eat. I am addicted to Pinterest and you will most likely find me pinning like crazy in boring lectures. I grew up on Long Island and yes, our bagels and pizza are so much better than yours. I’m a total beach bum and wish I was on a beach somewhere right now. I am addicted to crime dramas so someone needs to take my Netflix away soon so I can actually get work done this semester. And as you can expect, I’m a total shopaholic.
I tend to live my life by a Carrie Bradshaw quote: “I like my money where I can see it— hanging in my closet.” My whole paycheck usually disappears before I even realize and trust me, my mother does not approve. Don’t get me wrong though, I hate paying full price so you will most likely find me bargain shopping or searching for coupons. My closet is a mix of all different styles but that is what makes getting dressed fun. I can go from preppy to trendy to sorority girl-chic all in one day. Can you tell how indecisive I am?
As much as I love talking about myself, it is now time to talk about my outfit! I’m a little bitter that summer is over, but fall fashion is helping me stay sane. The number one thing you need this fall is a new pair of booties like the ones I’m wearing. I pinky promise they will go with every outfit you already own. You also can’t go wrong with a simple button-down because it can go from behind a desk at your internship to a night out with your girls. Then, just add your go-to skinny jeans and finish off with a statement necklace for some sparkle.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more outfits that I find on the streets of Newark!
