Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Nicole Manago. I am currently a Junior at California State University of Long Beach and majoring in business marketing. As a girl with a love for fashion, I am so grateful for this opportunity of being a part of CollegeFashionista.
Most people would portray me as the hip girl who loves to go on spontaneous adventures. But trust me there’s more to me than that! On my free time, I love to watch Youtube videos, go shopping and trying new foods.
As I grew older, I’ve learned that the best way I can express myself was through my sense of style. Fashion is my outlet of expressing myself. I would have never thought that the fashion and blogging industry would impact my life tremendously. I was able to be a brand representative for clothing brands and intern for online publications. I gained the courage to create a Lifestyle/Fashion blog and a YouTube channel to inspire others with my style. Expressing my love for fashion and photography through social media has positively impacted my life and has helped me grow as a person.
For this look, I decided to show what style I would wear on a daily basis. This outfit is pretty casual and comfortable to wear. I paired black distressed denim shorts with this embroidered rose T-shirt (similar). To dress this outfit up a bit, I wore a pair of suede booties (similar). Then I topped off the outerwear with a denim jacket and a pair of retro sunnies (similar).
If I were to describe my style, it would be minimal, casual, and trendy all in one. I’m so excited to inspire others with my style and be able to contribute to CollegeFashionista this semester!
