Hi, Fashionistas/os! My name is Nicole Miranda and this fall I will be a senior at Florida Southern College. I am studying Graphic Design with a minor in Advertising Design and Studio Art. This will be my first time writing for CollegeFashionista and I couldn’t be more excited!
I am from the Orlando area, so unlike all of those up north, I am anxiously awaiting the fall and winter weather! This past summer I was able to leave some of the Florida heat behind while I traveled. I was given the opportunity to intern in Louisville, Kentucky at a Graphic Design firm, this was my first time visiting Kentucky and I absolutely fell in love with it. Living in Kentucky over the summer was such a great experience since I have only lived in Florida my entire life. While there, I met so many awesome people and also managed to take a selfie with every animal I could find (I am a huge animal lover). While in Kentucky, I also got around to visiting the surrounding states, I played with some baby tigers in Indiana and got to visit (and shop) in the beautiful city of Chicago for the first time ever!
My style mainly consists of neutral colors and basics; I love mixing them with unique finds and accessories that I pick up at local boutiques. My favorite season is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited to share those fall trends with you all.
