My name is Nneoma Ajiwe and this is my first semester as a Style Guru. I’m so excited to share with you guys the array of fashion I encounter here at The University of Texas. You know what they say, everything is bigger and better in Texas.
Presently, I am on track to receive my degree in public relations and certificate in business foundations in the spring of 2016. With hopes of having a career in the entertainment industry particularly in film and talent development, I will be spending the summer of 2016 in Los Angeles interning under the university’s UTLA program.
When I’m not in school, I love to take pictures as I run a photography business I started in 2011 called Forever Young Photography. I recently did my first wedding this May in Houston, and did a number of senior pictures on the University of Texas campus. I’m working on a website so that I am able to fully exhibit my work.
In this picture, I had the chance to go up to Baylor University to see my sister graduate. Because of my DSLR camera , I’m the designated family photographer. I snuck an opportunity to be in front of the camera for once for this style feature. The vintage top was thrifted, but you can find a similar one anywhere online. I love the oversided nature of the top and its’ cute accent buttons. I’m pretty short and I wanted to show off my heels so I cuffed the jeans that I purchased from Forever 21. The fab chunky heel sandal is from justfab.com. Just a simple outfit made dressy!
Can’t wait to share with ya’ll more of what Texas has to offer. Hook ’em!
