Hello fellow Fashionistas, I am Olivia Pienta. I am originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, and no, I do not know Taylor Swift. I now spend most of my time in Arlington, Virginia, where I attend Marymount University. I am a fashion merchandising major with a minor in business.
I have always known that I wanted to achieve a career in fashion. When I was little I spent my time picking out the perfect outfits for my Barbies and American Girl doll. It then turned into Project Runway art kits where I could design the outfits. Shortly after I got those kits, I sadly discovered that I was a terrible drawer which resulted in my decision to major in fashion merchandising. Now my little girl dreams are finally coming true. I get to work at fashion shows and take fashion classes. There are so many options for what I can do with my degree after graduation. As of right now, I would love to get into styling or editing.
I would describe my style as preppy and classic. I love to invest and buy pieces that I can wear for multiple seasons. I do mix it up sometimes with some bohemian and edgy pieces. One of my favorite versatile pieces for the spring and early summer are these white jeans. They can easily be worn with a button down or a denim tank like this one. When deciding on accessories I could not decide weather to keep it simple or pair the blouse and pants with a statement necklace. I decided to keep it simple and layer dainty necklaces from Forever 21. I finished off the outfit with a pair of espadrilles. A pointed toe flat could also work. Both add the perfect spring touch to the outfit.
