I am 19 years old and come from a small town in Virginia. My personal style usually depends on my current mood. When I’m feeling happy, colors are the way to go! If I’m not feeling that great, neutrals are already on my mind. My biggest dream is to befriend Karl Lagerfeld. A lot of my style inspiration comes from celebrities and designers such as him. My Uzbek background also has a lot of influence on what I wear, especially when it comes to color. To me it’s important to embrace where you come from and show it off in your fashion! Growing up, the women in my family taught me a lot about fashion. I still look up to my mom and sisters and constantly ask them for fashion advice.
In the future, I hope to attend The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California, Los Angeles is one of my favorite cities. The atmosphere and the vibe of California have me dreaming of living there one day! I would love to create my own label one day. I have a lot of hope and passion to help change the fashion and modeling industry one day, by bringing awareness to different cultures, races, body types and disabilities.
