Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Paige Hardman, and I am a junior studying Management Consulting at the University of Notre Dame. This semester will mark my fourth semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, and I couldn’t be happier about it! One of my favorite parts about the internship is that it encourages creativity and the use of social media, which are two of my favorite things about the fashion industry in general.
As for my own style, I love wearing black and other neutral colors. When I was younger, I used to make fun of my mom for owning a closet full of black and white, but now when I look in my own closet, I see the same and understand. Instead of being limited by color, every item matches every other item and you have infinite options!
If you know one thing about me, it’s that I’m obsessed with cities. While I am at school, I enjoy taking trips to Chicago to shop and go to new restaurants. My ideal Saturday would consist of wandering around and exploring new places in an urban area. That is exactly what I was doing when my sister and I came upon a colorful mural and had to snap a few pictures, as you can see above. For my look in the pictures, I started with a pair of black ripped jeans, added a white sweater and silver jewelry. I accessorized with my favorite black leather jacket and matching converse. I added the scarf for extra warmth.
If you also love neutrals, social media and cities, we will get along great! Here’s to the New Year and a RAD new semester with CollegeFashionista.
