This is Pamela, a born and raised Venezuelan living in New York. I’m pursuing a masters in social work at Hunter College. This school is located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Studying in the big apple allows me to find inspiration in every corner I walk by and every person I see. I’d say there is no better place to be a Fashionista than here!
Regarding CollegeFashionista, this is my third semester involved with this RAD opportunity. It was actually by posing for the lens of another Fashionista that I found out about this amazing internship. It has allowed me to expand my knowledge in fashion, social media, marketing, and much more.
I’ve also had the opportunity of meeting other fellow Fashionistas that continuously inspire me, and are always down to give your posts some love. Last but certainly not least, I’ve had the chance of attending different CollegeFashionista events, where I’ve had the opportunity of meeting an array of inspiring women working in the business. From magazine editors, to fashion correspondents, and even fellow bloggers. This is certainly one of the best things I have ever done as a college student.
A little bit about me? I have my own fashion blog, I’m addicted to chocolate and sushi, Central Park is my favorite spot in the city, my dream Vacation place is Italy, Spanish is my first language, and I’m a sorority girl.
Regarding my fashion self, my favorite store is H&M, which is where i got this white crop top. You can find a similar one through Shopbop. When it comes to shoes, ALDO is my go-to store. That is where I found these beautiful black ankle boots. I don’t really have a defined style, I’m more of a go-with-the-flow type of girl who can fall in love with the latest trends, or wear something retro and like it just as much.
I look forward to another amazing semester as a Style Guru, and I can wait to see what is in store for all of us CollegeFashionistas!
