Well hey, what’s up, hello lovely CollegeFashionista readers? My name’s Paula Volos and as you can tell from this very pop culture-inspired beginning, I’d like to take the time to say hi to all of you and introduce myself by saying a few things so that you can all get to know me better. As there are already three more of my STYLE GURU BIOS up, I’d like to keep this one rather short and brief, so as not to bore you!
First thing’s first (Nope, not quoting Iggy here), I’m 20 years old and currently a junior double majoring in English and Media Studies at CUNY Queens College. After I graduate college, I plan on pursuing a career in the fashion industry, because frankly, I can never really see myself doing anything else in life. I live in the beautiful concrete jungle known as New York and if you’ve happened to stumble upon my previous bios, then you’re probably aware of the fact that New York is my one and only big love (#boyfriend). I’m the girl who’s obsessed with taking long walks around the city and if you ever happen to bring me an iced latte, pizza, anything Marc Jacobs or leather and any kind of pointed shoes, I’ll probably end up loving you forever—just saying. Always being overdressed, forever having my phone glued on me and never failing to have nail polish and lipstick on at any time of the day are what I do best (#SorryNotSorry). So yup, this is me in a nutshell.
This semester marks my fourth time as a Style Guru and my second time as a Marketing Intern in the New York office (I guess time really does fly, after all). I’m extremely happy and grateful to have the opportunity to have two absolutely RAD internships with CollegeFashionista, as they’ve both given me the chance to grow and have also truly deepened my love for fashion. Fashion has always been something that I’ve had a very special kind of affinity for and as time goes by, these feelings of love and appreciation for it only keep growing.
To sum it all up, I’m super excited to see what this semester with CollegeFashionista has in store for both me and you guys! I hope you’ll enjoy reading my articles as much as I’ll enjoy making them!
