Hello friends I’m Peyton! I’m back again for my second semester as a CollegeFashionista Style Guru!
I’m a junior public relations major at York College of Pennsylvania, but I will be spending my semester abroad in Florence, Italy! When I graduate, I want to be involved in public relations for a fashion company. I love fashion and if you know me at all, you know I am a social media addict on my phone 24/7. I was even voted “Most Likely To Tweet” in high school. I get the best of both worlds writing and expressing my love for clothes with my internship with CollegeFashionista.
Last semester I learned so much from finding Fashionistas on campus, taking pictures of outfits and writing articles about how to put it all together. This semester I’m determined to find even more style innovators on campus to show my readers more looks to try! I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled all semester for tips to share, and I can’t wait to incorporate Italian fashion into my own personal style.
Florence, Italy is known for it’s light, airy and romantic atmosphere. Fortunately, the weather is more mild than the climate I’m used to in the mountains of Pennsylvania. For my outfit, I chose a cozy turtleneck with a flowy knit cardigan. I paired my look with jeggings and comfy black cargo boots. Florence trends can be very over-the-top, so I chose to wear red lipstick and a hat as final touches to stand out!
Follow me for the next few months as I call Florence my home. As Vogue said: “Florence is charming, cozy, beautiful, inspiring—it has so many great places to go to and so many unique things to see that you won’t find anywhere else!” I’ll be exploring the amazing fashion and culture of one of the most stylish countries in the world (while enjoying warm cappuccinos and creamy gelato of course).
Get ready for all of my notes on all of the expensive brand-name trends that Florentine Fashionistas wear. Each article this semester will be showing you how to find the looks for less!
