Hi there! My name is Rachel and I’m an Advertising and Marketing Communications major at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
I am so lucky to pursue my dreams studying at one of the best fashion schools, amongst many creative people, and in the immensely inspirational city that is New York! Coming from the small town suburbs of Maryland, the Big Apple is a whole new world. Whether you’re navigating the subway, exploring the crowded streets or simply resting at the nearest coffee shop, there is never a dull moment. What I love most about the city is being able to stop right in the middle of the street and appreciate so many different cultures, people and ideas in just one instance.
I’m inspired by the diversity of styles that I see each day. Developing your style is such a fun and creative way to express yourself. Taking trends and pairing them with your wardrobe favorites make it your own. That’s what is so great about fashion. Each outfit you put together is unique and personal. My typical OOTD depends so much on my mood and latest inspirations. You can catch me wearing a white T-shirt and boyfriend jeans with loafers, a vintage floral dress with boots or maybe even a crop top with nice slacks. You won’t, however, see me without my rings.
