Hello Fellow Fashionistas! My name is Rachel Randall and I am a specialized studies major at Ohio University. I am majoring in business and RFPD (retail merchandising & product development). I am sadly a senior this coming fall, and am excited to be a Style Guru for the summer!
While growing up I was more of a tomboy since my parents had me play sports like soccer and basketball. I think that this has allowed me to create my current style which is a mixture of almost every style. I tend to lean towards wearing something comfortable with a little bit of a spin to make it pop. My retail obsession began when I was a senior in high school and I got my first retail job. I had always loved clothing but it wasn’t until then that I realized that I wanted it to be my career. Now that I am a senior, I have narrowed down (sort of) what I want to do after graduation this coming spring.
Throughout working at a boutiques and well known major brands I have learned a lot and also have managed to create a pretty fantastic closet. It has always been hard for me to not resort to retail therapy after a hard test, but I never complain when I get a new package when I come back from class.
For my first outfit, I decided to go with one of my favorite pairs of jeans. Boyfriend jeans are hard to find the right pair, but when you do you will become obsessed just like I did. They add an extra edge to any outfit while being extremely comfortable all the time. I paired it with a flowy cropped shirt with a hood. I decided to roll the bottom of the jeans to show off my black sandals that have a strap right below the end of the jeans. I went ahead and paired this with my favorite watch from Kenneth Cole Reactions and ring from Paris.
