Hola! My name is Rainy Paul and I am a senior majoring in Marketing at the always sunny University of San Diego. I am thrilled to be back in action as a Style Guru! Fashion is an animated language that speaks for itself, and I can’t wait to continue to be inspired by the styles on campus and bring them to life for you.
With the end of summer comes a new semester– and a new back to school wardrobe. If you’re like me, you are looking forward to the crisp fall days that call for warm color schemes paired with fantastic fabrics. The trick to dressing for the beginning of fall is achieving a balance of layers and colors that can transition from hot, adventure-filled days to cooler evenings with close friends.
Today, I’m wearing a fresh white T-shirt with my favorite gray Paige Premium Denim. The zipper detailing on the front adds an unexpected element and edge. I then threw on a light, silk bomber jacket covered in an ornate pattern with a various color combinations and beading. It’s the perfect weight as the days become a little cooler. I also decided to wear strappy sandals to keep the look playful. To complete the outfit, I wore my chunky, silver bracelet, watch and rings.
Fashion continuously changes from one trend to the next. It is an exciting challenge to follow how different styles evolve on campus, and I am eager to keep you up with the latest trends. Happy fall semester!
