Hello everyone! I’m Raven Fulton, and I’m so excited to be a Style Guru for the summer semester! I’m from Ohio, but I’ll be spending my summer in New York City this summer! Guess you can say I’m a small-town girl with big-city dreams. I can’t wait to show you all the #RAD styles from the fashion capital itself!
I’m a senior at Kent State University, and I’m majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in digital media production and fashion media.
I may seem a little out of my element, with most gurus being fashion merchandising and design majors, but I have always had a love for fashion. For most of my childhood I wanted to be a fashion designer, but years later I chose journalism, and it seems like I’ve made my way back to fashion—one of my first loves. With my major and my minors, I have more appreciation for writing and photography. When it comes to fashion, that’s straight from the heart or my closet.
I am probably one of the most indecisive people you will meet. It may be a flaw of mine, but I look at it as an advantage! Especially when it comes to my style. I’m a mix of a little bit of everything. I love ’90s fashion!! The ’90s just get me. I love dressing up to super cute and girly; then again, I could also go into being a straight tomboy, and sometimes I could go from hippie to business professional. Basically, it all depends on how I’m feeling or how I want to feel that day. With so many different styles and so many beautiful clothes, why stick to one thing?
Well that’s me and fashion, but you’re probably wondering who I am, so here’s some quick random facts. I’m obsessed with everything that is arts and entertainment. I love food… like really love food!! Of course, I love coffee—I enjoy a cute cafe as much as the next Style Guru. My favorite magazines are NYLON and Teen Vogue—go fashion journalism!! I usually change my hair style just about once a month. Hopefully you’ll get to learn more about me as I share the amazing fashion I find this summer!
This summer’s going to #RAD, and I can’t wait to start sharing it with you!
