AYO! My name is Raven and I’m a sophomore at Gettysburg College. Currently, I am studying to be a globalization major with a focus on social media effectiveness within society, given the context of cultural norms and history.
I have always had a mild interest in fashion, but love to write and have for years. However, my work has never been published and I felt that this internship would be the perfect launch pad to do so. I am not one to give in to fashion trends or fads, nor do I have a single consistent style. On any given day, my fashion choices will vary from masculine to feminine, and even a combination of the two.
For this look, I paired a Charity Water graphic T-shirt with my thrifted black mom jeans. Since my pants do not reach my ankle, I cuffed them about an inch and wore these black suede Nine West boots. Recently, I have been playing around with the denim-on-denim look, so I threw on my oversize dark-wash denim jacket to add a more masculine feel to the overall outfit. Lastly, to accessorize I paired my scarf with a Forever 21 embroidered headband, black choker, and Kate Spade earrings. My clear glasses are prescription and from my local eye-glass store, but there are similar ones online. Lastly, since it is cold I wore these thick olive green gloves from Rue 21.
