Hello there, Fashionistas/os! My name is Rebecca Tilbor and I will be going into my senior year at the University of Pittsburgh (time flies). I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Professional Communications with a Certificate in Corporate and Community Relations (basically PR). Unfortunately, my school doesn’t have any majors in fashion, so I plan on using CollegeFashionista as my style outlet. I cannot wait to write about fashion and photograph fashionable people this summer!
After graduation, I aspire to hold a job as a Fashion Merchandiser. This summer, I am also interning at KAS New York as a Fashion Merchandiser and Salesperson. I am so excited to begin! In the past, I have been a College Representative for Donni Charm, which is a great scarf company! I am eager to see what the fashionable people of New York have in store for me to write about.
I love going to the beach, binge watching anything on Netflix, (Especially Scandal and Gossip Girl), reading and hanging out with my friends. You can generally catch me in an all-black ensemble. I love reading fashion magazines to learn about the latest trends. Currently, I gravitate towards lariat necklaces, ‘90s style sandals and ripped jeans. My style is always changing depending on my mood. I feel that a person’s style says a lot about them, and I cannot wait to capture those personalities.
I am looking forward to diving deeper into the world of fashion this semester and growing from it. Cheers to a stylish semester!
