My name is Ruby Jasmin and this is my second semester with this internship. I am graduating after this semester in business marketing. Almost there! I want to pursue a career in fashion marketing, specifically digital marketing.
I would consider my current style to be mostly neutrals with pops of color. The simplicity in looks always win me over. My current obsession is the ’90s era in fashion. In winter I love wearing polo necks wether they are tight, low, floppy or folded. I am wearing a fitted tan long sleeve polo neck which is imprinted with subtle rimmed lines in the fabric. Neutral colors are perfect for the winter season and give great opportunity to have accessories to be the focal point. The fitted look is really flattering and makes the polo neck really stand out. The black pants contrast the top really well to balance out the neutral colors. With the booties, it is fitting to fold your skinny jeans over rather than tuck them in to the booties. The blue velvet booties are the focal point of the outfit and give the look a pop of color. Velvet has been a big trend and applying it to your shoes is a great touch to any outfit. These shoes have been my favorite pick going into 2017. Velvet shoes have been trending everywhere and especially through celebrity looks from Kendal Jenner to Rhianna. The ’90s style has circulated its way back into the fashion world. I’ve always been a big fan of ’90s fashion and love to apply it to the looks I wear today. This look is perfect for day activities out in the town and can even be switched to a night outfit. I am always busy going from different activities, it’s important that my outfit is very versatile.
