Hey there Fashionistas/os! My name is Rukhmitha Shridhar, but you can call me Rukhy! I am a huge lover of smiles, hugs and raspberry white mochas. I am currently a sophomore at Lafayette College majoring in chemical engineering. I am originally from the south of India. Choosing to study in the U.S was one of the biggest decisions I made for myself. Having lived in the U.S for almost a year and a half, I can now say that I am pretty accustomed to the American world, from the college culture to the pop culture.
Being an engineer and juggling extracurricular activities has taught me the skills to master the art of getting ready quickly. Taking the time to pick out my outfit of the day is a huge part of my “me” time. If looking good makes me feel good, I believe that it is worth taking some time out for self care to make one happy.
I would describe my style as girly. Usually, you would find me in clothing ranging from neutral colors to bright ones. My go-to basics are a bright lipstick and a statement accessory or scarf. In my opinion, lipstick and accessories are like Jay-Z and Beyoncé of fashion, the power couple. Anything and everything can look effortlessly fashionable with the two.
