Hey there, my name is Sabera, and I am a freshman at the State University of New York at New Paltz. I hope to major in communications with a minor in film. This is my first semester as a Style Guru, and I am so excited to begin my journey this spring!
Being raised in New York City, I found myself constantly surrounded by the latest fashion trends. From the urban streets of SoHo to the luxury looks of Fifth Ave, there was always inspiration wherever I went. Keeping up with the newest styles, along with figuring out my own personal twists, has been a love of mine since I could remember. I use fashion as a way to express myself while feeling confident and stylish.
To share my personal style with the world, I created my very own YouTube channel and also use the platform as a source for most of my inspiration. When I’m not watching videos, I’m usually scrolling through Pinterest or Tumblr to keep myself up to date on what’s RAD. In my spare time, you can usually find me taking one too many polaroids, practicing my drawing and writing skills or attempting to teach myself how to play the guitar.
When it comes to my fashion favorites, I strongly believe that you can never go wrong with a good pair of heeled booties. My go-to outfit usually includes a plain T-shirt, regular skinny jeans, a pair of heeled booties and statement jewelry for some extra glam. Currently, I am obsessed with a red lipstick for the perfect pop of color.
