Hi! My name is Sabryna, and I am a junior studying public relations and communications at Iona College. Growing up with an artist for a mother, and musician for a father, my life has been all-consumed by creativity from a young age. My passion for the arts has formed who I am today, and fashion has become a huge staple in my development into adulthood.
I am extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity to work with CollegeFashionista this semester as I follow my dreams into the world of fashion and beauty. There is a quote by Alexander McQueen that has really stuck with me in regards to my thoughts on modern style: “It’s a new era in fashion—there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together.”
My style represents who I am as a person and I don’t believe there is any label that can be stamped onto it. What I wear often reflects my mood, schedule, hobbies, and even inspirational artists and musicians.
For this look, I wore a green Ragged Priest jumper dress that I paired with a faux fur black cardigan from Forever 21 to keep me warm in this January weather. I thought the black over-the-knee socks were a perfect pair for my knee-high heeled boots, then I completed my outfit with black rimmed sunglasses.
