Hi everyone! My name is Sam Mandich and I am beyond excited to be a Style Guru for the spring 2017 semester! I am currently a senior at Fordham University majoring in communications with a concentration in film, while also pursuing a double minor in visual arts and fashion studies. In addition to that, I have a passion for film, dance and photography. I hope to continue balancing my artistic endeavors with my academics and internships throughout my final semester at Fordham. I’m all about creativity, and I cannot wait to begin this stylish semester with you all!
I am originally from Long Beach, California, making my personal style fall somewhere in-between whimsical boho-chic, and funky Streetwear. Although I am a California native, going to school in New York has absolutely inspired me when it comes to fashion, and I am so thrilled to be a Style Guru in this amazing city! I love to be creative with my style, and I love to inspire others to be confident in their fashion choices, so I am extremely grateful to have a platform on CollegeFashionista to do so.
For this look, I’m wearing a black slip under a sheer white midi dress. I paired this with a black wrap choker, black booties, and an oversized denim jacket to add some edge to this flowy midi. January is cold, but you don’t have to wear one black outfit after another!
Besides my adoration for fashion, I am a dancer and photographer in my (limited) free time. Fashion, like dance and photography, is a form of expression that I would encourage everyone to experiment with. Individuality is often something that we take for granted, and I hope to inspire others to be confident and to be themselves. I am honored to be a part of CollegeFashionista this semester, and I cannot wait to get rad with my fellow Style Gurus.
