Hi, fellow Fashionistas/os! My name is Samantha Atherley and I am a sophomore at Florida State University. I’m currently studying Public Relations and minoring in Political Science with the hope of one day being a big time political campaign manager. When I’m not living in my black leggings at the library you can find me checking out local boutiques.
Most days I’ll be exploring, whether it’s my hometown of Miami or the wonderful city of Tallahassee. I love finding new trendy restaurants and shops to visit, and I always share them with my friends. The greatest memories come from new experiences, and I adore exploring and traveling. Some of my favorite places to shop are Reef Boutique in Tallahassee and LiaBella Jewelry in Miami.
Some of my holy grail fashion must-haves for the Florida weather are rompers, flowy pants, gladiator sandals and beautiful jewelry. Not a week goes by where my friends don’t catch me wearing a romper at least once. I have a deep appreciation for comfy clothing that’s still fashion-forward.
I’m super excited to represent Florida State this summer as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. My love for fashion has grown since I’ve started college, and I’ve discovered a new freedom with my fashion choices. I believe that personal style is the greatest creative outlet anyone can express.
