Hey guys! My name is Samantha Kalany, and I am a returning Style Guru and am so happy to join you all in this amazing journey for yet another semester! I am nearing the end of my collegiate career at Northern Kentucky University located in Highland Heights, Kentucky. I grew up marveling over the bright lights from across the river of Cincinnati, Ohio, and fantasize about living in the Queen City one day to pursue a career in the public relations field.
My main hobbies include drinking local craft beer with friends, working my radio station job, and gaining all the experience I can soak up—attending live shows and concerts and absolutely losing myself in the music and, of course, ‘cat’-napping with my puppy dog at any chance I get.
I’m a sucker for comfy clothes that I can lounge around my house in, featuring a nice pair of fuzzy socks and all. My gray and teal Patagonia pullover is my go-to when it comes to keeping warm and feeling comfortable, because I can wear it anywhere and feel cozy for days. Anything that I can pair up with some leggings ranks high on my “judgement-free” wardrobe options.
Northern Kentucky hasn’t seen snow yet, so I haven’t worn my duck boots in too much, but they are still any easy wear, for they keep me warm. If you couldn’t tell already, I am always cold, but am grateful for fuzzy socks and bundling layers to get me through the winter months.
