Hi, lovelies! Wow, I cannot believe another year has flown by so quickly. If you are new to my feed, then welcome! This will be my fourth semester as a Style Guru for College Fashionista, and I am very excited to see all the amazing things that 2017 has in store.
A little bit about me: I am currently a junior at New York University studying photographing and imaging at Tisch School of the Arts. I am originally from Southern California so living in New York has exposed me to a whole other world when it comes to fashion. I am ever so grateful to be living in a place that keeps me constantly inspired and where I can be myself.
As for my personal style, I like to consider it rock-n-roll glam. I love wearing daring pieces and experimenting when it comes to fashion. Life is too short to take clothes too seriously so let’s have fun while we can! As long as you wear your outfit with confidence then nothing is ever off limits.
Furthermore, I am obsessed with all things vintage, odd, and handmade. I also love supporting local businesses and fellow female creative minds. My pink Head Boss varsity jacket is made by the Uniform, which is owned and run by two amazing sisters. One of the sisters is also a current NYU student (what a total girl boss!). If you love leather jackets and dramatic chokers as much as I do then you should definitely check them out.
As for the rest of my outfit, I paired my jacket with a cute red ruffle shirt that I purchased off of Depop. I love the pink and red color scheme since it softens up the look. I also decided to wear my favorite pair of black jeans, heeled booties, a wide brimmed hat, and crystal choker.
I am so excited to kick off my fourth semester with College Fashionista and to show off the amazing styles of the Fashionistas/os on my campus with you all! Remember to have fun and that confidence is always your best accessory. Until next time, lovelies!
