Hey Fashionista/os! I am so excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista for my second semester. I’m now a second semester sophomore pursuing a degree in art history and business. This semester you can look at my feed for deep winter fashion inspiration.
When I’m not battling snowstorms at school, I call Los Angeles my home. I love grabbing acai bowls and browsing L.A. sample sales for the next great deal on fabulous designer clothing. I also love pointing out to my California native friends that 55 degrees is in fact, not cold.
On campus you can find me sipping my People’s Place coffee while browsing the latest art exhibit in the SU Art Gallery. You can also find me creating the latest spread designs for Student Voice Magazine (personal plug, go check it out!).
You can spot me a mile away rocking my boho style amongst the preppy students of Syracuse. I try to incorporate my hometown style in every outfit while still remaining frostbite free. Who ever said winter fashion has to be an all black down feather jacket?
By my outfit, it is obvious that I am not against black. By mixing faux fur with a lazar cut top, I add dimension to an otherwise flat outfit. Small textural elements like these add interest without being to loud. I also can always rely on my black leather booties for pulling an outfit together. Ask anyone and they will tell you that if it’s not snowing, I am wearing these shoes. They are classic, comfy and have a little heel without being obnoxiously high.
We will see what Fashionista/os spring semester brings! Stay tuned!
