My name is Sarah Almazan. I am a sophomore tourism & hospitality management major at Temple University. This is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and I could not be more excited! As a kid my favorite thing to do was play dress up, and now I get to share passion for fashion with you guys!
In my free time, you can find me roaming around the City of Brotherly Love with my friends and sorority sisters. Being a member of a sorority at Temple has blessed me with 170 extra closets to rummage through while searching for the perfect outfit. I also love being my friends go-to person to borrow clothes from and style outfits for them when they need.
My current favorite trends are all featured in this outfit, which I think is the perfect look for that awkward end-of-summer transition to back-to-school. With ’90s trends coming back in style, my wardrobe is full of jean skirts, off-the-shoulder tops and of course, chokers! Lace-up shoes are also another absolute favorite of mine, and my closet is full of every type of lace-up shoe you can think of. From flats to heels, I had to have them all. I picked these up from Forever 21, along with my sunglasses. This look is perfect for roaming the city or grabbing lunch with your girls.
Moving forward, I can’t wait to learn all there is to know about fashion, and I think there’s no better place to do that than my fellow college students. I love to take bits and pieces from different trends and build them into my own style. Being able to share my style and learn from others is what makes me so excited about being a Style Guru!
